LOVE Island's Lucinda Strafford and Aaron Francis endured an awkward reunion on ITV show Lorraine today as she confirmed her new romance with co-star Brad McLlelland.
The dumped pair came face-to-face after being invited on to Lorraine to discuss the hit reality show following Casa Amor's dramatic recoupling.
Speaking to Lorraine Kelly's stand-in host Christine Lampard, Lucinda, 21, and Aaron, 24, confirmed they were not pursuing a romance despite leaving Love Island in a romantic couple together.
The exes were forced to confirm their relationship status and looked uncomfortable as Aaron took the heat of the question.
Playing the gent, he said he harboured no hard feelings after Lucinda chose to pursue Northumberland labourer Brad, 26, over him on the outside, and insisted Love Island fans couldn't really blame her.
The events manager said: "We came out, we were only coupled up for three or four days, when you think about it like that, we're like 'calm down guys'."
As Lucinda replied: "Yeah, I met up with Brad. It's still really early stages at the moment but we're seeing where things go.
"I did have a really good connection with Brad unfortunately the time got cut short, he was so mature and a gentleman. But it's early stages and it's still up in the air at the moment."
Lucinda dated Brighton & Hove Albion winger Aaron Connolly for two years before going into Love Island and The Sun previously told how he was waiting for her on the outside.
The Sun reported how the footie star was furious when she told him about Love Island.
Aaron is regarded as one of the brightest young talents in the Premier League. He has made 39 appearances for the Seagulls, scoring five goals
Upon Lucinda's arrival into the villa, she was paired up with Brad.

The couple even enjoyed their first date together - but their romance was cut short after being voted as the least compatible couple.
But instead of both being kicked out, they had the option to choose just one of them to leave, with Brad insisting that the blonde beauty stays.
She then reciprocated as Aaron made his move on her and they chose to couple up in a romantic couple.
The pair were shown the back door after landing in the bottom two by a public vote alongside Faye and Teddy.
