Livingston have announced the formation of a new under-19 women's team.
The move is the latest step in the link-up between Blackburn United and the club which saw the launch of a senior women's football team at Livingston last year.
The under-19s national performance team will be launched for the 2021 season and allows the younger players at Blackburn United with a clear direction through the age groups.
As part of the announcement, the club are now looking for ambitious players to augment Blackburn United's current under-17 squad which will make the transition up to under-19s at the end of the season.
All training and matches are held at The Tony Macaroni Arena with the squad training opposite the first team and having the possibility of being invited to train or play with the senior women's side.
Livingston Women's head coach Paul Jaconelli said: "We're very excited to add a NP team to the pathway from girls football at Blackburn to senior football at Livingston which can only be a positive for all involved.
"Training opposite the women’s team will assist them with their development and goals. We hope to see these talented players move into women's football in the seasons ahead."
Head of football operations at Livingston FC, David Martindale, added: "It’s another exciting development and one that we at the football club fully support.
"It’s fantastic to see the work the guys at the ladies team are doing and I’m sure they will be reaping the rewards over the coming years.”
