Kaide Gordon's chat with Jurgen Klopp

Kaide Gordon, aged 16 years and 351 days, became the third-youngest player to start a competitive game for Liverpool as he was named in the Carabao Cup starting line-up against Norwich City.

And after the Reds booked their place in the next round following their 3-0 win, manager Jurgen Klopp was full of praise for the young Reds player.

He said: "Kaide is good, and has a lot of things to improve, a lot of things to settle, a lot of things to learn, but a lot of things are already there.

"We are really happy to have him around and we will treat him carefully. I’m really that he is here, he is a big talent."

Klopp added: "The first thing that Kaide said to me after the game, when I wanted to say ‘congratulations’, he said ‘thank you!’.

"But there was nothing to be thankful about, he deserved it. It’s all fine, these boys are good and thank God they are ours."

Fans love what Luis Suarez did as Reds played Norwich

If one thing has ever seemed inevitable for the Reds in recent years, it has been that when Liverpool play Norwich then Luis Suarez scores.

The Uruguayan scored an incredible 12 goals from just six appearances against the Canaries, including three hat-tricks, before his transfer to Barcelona in the summer of 2014.

And as the sides faced off in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night, Suarez struck yet again.

Now on the books of Atletico Madrid, he netted a late-brace, including a stoppage-time winner, as Diego Simeone's side came from behind to clinch a 2-1 victory against Getafe.

Fans quickly noticed the incredible coincidence, taking to social media to share their surprise.
