Welcome along to this afternoon's Wigan Warriors coverage as the Cherry and Whites host local rivals Leigh Centurions at the DW Stadium.

The Warriors will be stinging after Wednesday's loss to Warrington Wolves at the Halliwell Jones Stadium and they'll be keen to set the record straight this afternoon with a result over Leigh.

The Leythers are still waiting for their first victory in the Super League this season and having pushed Wigan close on two occasions already this season, they'll be confident of finally getting over the line.

Wigan could welcome John Bateman back into action, while Liam Marshall and Ethan Havard miss out after picking up injuries in the loss to Warrington last time out.

We'll be reporting live from the DW Stadium all afternoon to bring you all the build-up, team news and match action.

Good afternoon!

We're reporting live from the DW Stadium this afternoon to bring you all the action as Wigan Warriors take on Leigh Centurions.

Adrian Lam's side are aiming to get back to winning ways this evening after falling short at the Halliwell Jones Stadium on Wednesday night.

That loss to Warrington Wolves leaves Wigan with something of a mountain to climb if they are to finish in the top three this season, but they'll confident of picking up a result against winless Leigh this afternoon.

It is fair to say the Leythers have struggled this season, but they've produced their best performances against the Warriors and they'll be prepared to dig deep once more this afternoon.
