A police manhunt is under way following the theft of two vehicles in Bamber Bridge.

James Ashton, 22, is wanted in connection to the burglary which happened down Church Road in Bamber Bridge on Wednesday, March 24.

Two vehicles were reported as stolen following the incident.

Ashton, previously of Mosslands, Leyland, is 5ft 7in of slim build with short ginger hair.

As well as Leyland he has links to Bamber Bridge and the Chorley area.

Sgt Paul Harrison of Lancashire Police said: “If you know where Ashton is or if you see him, please call police providing his location and a description of his clothing.

“Furthermore, I would urge Ashton to come forward and speak with police as soon as possible.

"I would also remind anyone helping him that it is an offence to assist an offender.”
