Leicester City have joined the race for one of Europe's top young strikers as they continue their quest to land Odsonne Edouard.

Record Sport understand Celtic and Brendan Rodgers' Foxes have not yet agreed a deal for the French striker but remain hopeful of striking an agreement.

And while that potential deal hums along the Midlands side have reportedly been eyeing an approach for RB Salzburg frontman Patson Daka.

The Zambian striker has emerged as one of the European football's top young strikers and certainly fits into a similar profile as Edouard with just three months separating the pair in age.
