Jennifer Aniston is said to be feeling rather apprehensive about the highly-anticipated Friends reunion.

The 52-year-old actress, who played the role of Rachel Green in the much-loved sitcom, has reunited with her five cast mates for the special show - which was filmed last week.

The special was completely canned in 2020 – despite producers doing everything they can to make it work.

But now, Jennifer has finally come together with Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry and Matt LeBlanc to make it work.

However, the Horrible Bosses actress is said to be thinking a lot about how it will be received.

"Jen is probably the most nervous of all the cast because, rightly or wrongly, the pressure and spotlight will inevitably be directed at her," a source claimed.

"The endless delays [filming was held up for a year due to the pandemic] have only added to the tension and pressure, and she’s worried that it will be her who gets hammered by critics if any of them come across as dry or awkward on the panel," the insider added to Heat magazine.

It's also been claimed that Jennifer dropped some baby major news during filming of the Friends reunion.

It’s reported that the twice-divorced actress has decided to adopt a baby girl from Mexican orphanage, Casa Hogar Sion.

Jen has been a long-time supporter of helping out the orphanage, and her friends are now saying the adoption process is set to be finalised by June.

“Jen felt the reunion was the perfect time to make her baby announcement to the whole gang," an insider told Closer.

"While the girls already knew – as they see each other regularly – she thought it would be special to tell the boys when they were all together, as she rarely sees them these days due to their busy lives and work commitments."

“Spending almost every waking hour together for a decade, they lived through every detail of each other’s lives and supported each other through all their hard times including Courteney’s fertility struggles and Jen’s painful divorce from Brad Pitt," they continued.

“Knowing how much they’ve always wanted this for Jen knowing her history, made it even more poignant for her to tell them her news so they could share and celebrate the milestone chapter in her life.

“They were all overjoyed when she told them – giving her parenting advice, which she said she’d happily take on once she was settled in," the source added.
