Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall seems to be targeting success amid reports she has signed up with a major music management company ahead of her band's rumoured plan to break up.

The 28-year-old pop singer is said to have been engaged in secret talks with Full Stop Management – who look after superstars including Kings of Leon’s Caleb Followill, pop babe Charli XCX, RnB sensation Lizzo and Aussie pop prince Troye Sivan.

Rumours abound that the upcoming Little Mix greatest hits album and tour will be something of a swan song for the band before they split up to take on solo projects.

And reports are suggesting Jade is aligning herself with a massively successful music management company to ensure her solos efforts smash out the gates – unlike flop former Little Mix star, Jesy Nelson.

A source told The Sun on Wednesday: “Jade had a series of meetings with Full Stop Management earlier this year and she’s now signed on the dotted line.

“They think she is going to be a huge star, just like Harry has become after One Direction went on hiatus.

“Jade has bags of ideas for her solo music and she’s already recorded some amazing songs that have impressed industry bosses.

“As well as music she is putting plans into motion for more TV appearances and there is no doubt she can become a mega-star in her own right.”

The news came just ahead of reports that Jade is set to sign a deal with Atlantic Records – which is also home to pop superstars Ed, 30, and Rita, 31.

Jade – who has been a member of Little Mix for the past decade alongside co-stars Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, as well as Jesy, who quit in December last year – is said to be impressing music bosses with her solo efforts.

The singer has been grafting behind-the-scenes while the band that made her famous prepares to go on a greatest hits tour ahead of a rumoured hiatus where each of the remaining three ladies will explore solo avenues.

A source told The Sun on Friday that Jade is already making impressive inroads at Atlantic, saying: “Jade’s been working super-hard on the new music and those who have heard the tracks say they sound amazing.]

“Jade has already met with Sony to talk things through but has really been impressed by Atlantic — and all signs point to her going with them.

“She has held top-secret talks with them and it’s all really positive.

“It’s well known Little Mix are going on hiatus after their tour next year and it’s no surprise that Jade is already working on solo songs.”

Meanwhile, fans might note that the management company Jade has reportedly signed up to already includes Harry Style’s as a client and might surmise that Jade is planning to replicate the success of the ex-One Direction star.

Little Mix and 1D of course have a shared history – with both bands launching to international success via The X Factor in the UK.

While the waters got slightly choppy between the bands when Directioner Zayn Malik fell for Mixer Perrie Edwards – with the duo becoming engaged but only to later split and resulting in the break up son Shout Out To My Ex.
