Is Argos open? See the full list of branches and its plan for reopening all shops

ARGOS was one of several shops which closed after the lockdown was imposed in March.

The retailer said that following Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s announcement that all non-essential services would close, it would shut all its 700 shops.

Mr Johnson has since announced all non-essential shops will be able to reopen on June 15.

Here are the details on Argos’ future openings.

When will Argos reopen?

A worker responded: “Hi there, I'm sorry but we don't have a specific date just yet. We're just following government guidelines. – Nick.”

The Sun has contacted Argos to find out more details of when it will reopen its standalone stores and will update this article when we hear back.

Can I still shop at Argos?

Yes. While Argos standalone stores are closed, Argos concessions within Sainsbury’s supermarkets remain open for orders pre-paid online.

You can find your nearest store on the Argos website.

Shoppers can also still order products on the Argos website for home delivery.

A statement on Argos’ website adds: “Opening times have changed, so check before travelling.

“Please note, we are also limiting the number of customers in our stores, and you may need to queue before entering Sainsbury’s to collect or return your Argos order. Alternatively, choose our home delivery options and we’ll bring your order to you.”

How will I know when the stores will reopen?

Argos is updating its website with information about future changes, which you can find here.

Alternatively, we will continue to update this article once we have more details.

Meanwhile, we’ve compiled lists detailing when certain shops will be reopening.

Sports Direct, Primark and Debenhams have all announced they will open their doors once more on June 15.

Ikea has also since reopened with hundreds of shoppers seen queuing for three hours outside.

McDonald’s is also continuing to slowly open its stores - with 477 drive-thrus and 37 branches open for delivery today.

All non-essential shops including stores selling clothes, toys and furniture to reopen by June 15, Boris Johnson reveals
