It’s time to curl up on the sofa with a cuppa and plan your shopping list, as the biggest sales event of the year is nearly upon us.
Black Friday 2020 is just a day away, and it’s already the biggest event to date as the pre-sales kicked off earlier than ever before.
Amazon surprised us all by launching its early bird deals a whole month ahead of the big day, while other retailers including Currys PC World, AO, Very, Debenhams and O2 followed suit, kicking off pre-sales in early November.
Others including Argos and Pandora have caught up, launching sales a week ahead of Black Friday, which falls on 27 November.
Apple is a brand that’s notorious for not taking part in sales, particularly Black Friday. It usually offers gift cards with qualifying purchases instead of outright discounted products, but that doesn’t mean you can’t snap up a deal on its products.

O2 is offering a £200 saving on the iPhone SE as part of its unlimited data bundle. Apple claims this is “the most powerful 4.7in iPhone ever”, making it ideal for those who are uninterested in huge screens but want all of the power of larger devices.
With a £50 upfront cost and a monthly bill of £39.84, you’ll get plenty of added extras, including six months of Deliveroo Plus, 12 months of Disney Plus or six months of Audible, and a one-year subscription to Apple TV+.
There are other plans available too, including 1gb and 5gb packages, where you can still save money. The handset is available in black, white and red.
Although this particular model didn’t feature in our round-up of the best smartphones, two other Apple iPhones did, so it’s safe to say you’ll be in safe hands with this deal.
This offer lasts until 2 December, but given how popular the iPhone SE model is, we’d beat the Black Friday rush and snap it up now.
