Inside Anton Du Beke’s incredible Buckinghamshire mansion as he finally lands Strictly judging panel job

ANTON Du Beke is famed for being classy and sophisticated - and his beautiful family home is no different.

The Strictly Come Dancing star, who is taking over from judge Bruno Tonioli on the show, lives in a stunning mansion in Buckinghamshire.

Anton's traditional abode is elegantly decorated and features stunning bay windows.

The professional dancer, who has appeared on every series of Strictly since it began in 2004, frequently gives fans a peek in his lounge.

With cream coloured walls and a shiny wooden floor, the room's main focal point is its floor-to-ceiling heavy curtains with a fringed pelmet.

During lockdown, 54-year-old Anton filmed many videos from his lounge to keep his fans' spirits up, often dressing up in a top hat and tails.

But when the camera stops rolling, the star unwinds by watching television or reading to his two children, Henriette and George, from his comfy off-white sofa.

Meanwhile, Anton - who is married to wife Hannah - has been letting fans into his glorious rustic kitchen for guest cooking segments on This Morning.

The keen chef rustled up some of his favourite treats for the ITV1 show live from his home, including a delicious 'Cha Cha Cherry Bakewell Cake'.

The main focal point in Anton's kitchen is a bare brick fireplace, decorated with red heart-shaped bunting.

He has traditional tiles, white, country-style shaker cabinets and bright red accessories, including a toaster.

The piecé de resistance is a sign hanging above the fireplace that reads: "I'D RATHER BE DRINKING CHAMPAGNE".

Guests can sample some of Anton's creations at a large, solid wood dining table, before heading to the study to flick through one of his books.

On Thursday, Anton announced that he's swapping the dance floor for a seat at the judges' table for this year's series of Strictly Come Dancing.

“My loves I cannot tell you how thrilled I am to be stepping into Bruno’s brogues for the next series of Strictly," he said.

"It’s a dream come true to be judging alongside the best of the best and I promise to be kinder to all the couples than any of them have ever been to me.”

Anton will join head judge Shirley Ballas, along with Motsi Mabuse and Craig Revel Horwood on the panel.

Bruno, 65, was forced to miss last series because of the coronavirus travel restrictions, as crossing the Atlantic proved too problematic.

Ahead of the show's return this autumn, Bruno has pulled out of returning as a judge. He has been a fixture on Strictly since 2004 but is over in America working on Dancing with the Stars.

However, The Sun can reveal that Bruno will make a return to the BBC One show for the Christmas Special.
