Pubs, restaurants and cafes finally reopened this week offering outdoor service to a steady stream of customers who had seriously missed their favourite haunts.
Some of the city's most popular venues are busy once again, with doors opening back up this week and customers enjoying a sense of normality.
With the return of some of our favourite venues this week, we asked ECHO readers about their favourite pubs and nightclubs they wish they could go back to.
Hundreds of readers shared their memories about nights spent dancing, drinking and laughing with friends.
All this reminiscing had readers wishing that certain beloved venues could reopen for just one more night.
Many people said they missed Cream, the iconic nightclub that put Liverpool on the map with its incredible DJ sets.
Ruth MJ wrote: "Cream, theoretically, but I’m far too old and knackered to stay up beyond 10pm these days."

Others said they wish they could bring back The Krazyhouse.
Heather Francis said: "Krazyhouse! Spent sooooooo many nights in that place, got funny memories!"
And as well as Krazyhouse and Cream, lots of readers wanted to bring back the Pleasure Rooms and Gatsby's
Rob Blu wrote: "Gatsby's, Victoria Street. All the lads use to go there after coming home from the away games on a Saturday. Had some great times in there late 70s early 80s."
And while some wanted to bring back favourite nightclubs, many longed for the community pubs they used to spend their time in.
Dougie Hannah wrote: "A really old pub, not many people will remember it, but the Beacon Light on Beacon Lane L5."
Carol Long said: "Loved the 008, in Spellow Lane, on a Friday night [it was] like being in someone's front room. Happy memories."
Julie Dobie added: "The old post office, lovely little pub [with] great atmosphere and even better staff."
And Ben Flack said: "The New Penny Farthing.... had such a laugh in there on one of my visits to Liverpool."
