I’m A Celebrity 2020 LIVE – Shane showers with Jordan as he prepares for ‘sickening’ trial with Jess tomorrow night

I'M A Celebrity's tensions boiled over tonight as Shane Richie clashed with AJ Pritchard.

The Strictly Come Dancing star was seen scolding the EastEnders legend for sleeping in late and avoiding his camp chores - and Shane looked ready to snap.

Shane was also busy showering with Jordan, taking part in a trial with 200 spiders and being voted to do the next trial with Jessica.

The star won 12 stars for camp - but tomorrow night's trial looks like it's going to be a spewing spectacular.

Meanwhile, Beverley Callard horrified fans when she snacked on a Scotch egg after claiming to be vegan.

The Coronation Street star also insisted she "wasn't a wuss" after being made exempt from the next castle trial on medical grounds.

Keep up to date with us all things I'm A Celeb in our live blog below...

  • THE 'SICKENING STALLS' SOUNDS SPEW-TACULAR

Can't wait to see Shane and Jessica tomorrow night.

Why is it that there's nothing better than watching a celeb try to not vomit?

  • SHANE AND JESS ARE UP FOR TOMORROW'S TRIAL

What's with the Shane obsession, people?

The Enders actor is set to face more fears in tomorrow's challenge and this time he'll be joined by the gem that is Jessica.

Expect screams galore, judging on the last live trial.

  • SHHHHH SHUT UP!

Are my eyes deceiving me or is that Shane and Jordan giving each other a scrub down?

Yes, the duo are in the shower. Together. Just being, well, 50% naked and quite near each other. No biggie.

  • VERNON'S REFUSED TO TAKE PART IN THE CHICAGO DANCE LESSON

Ruthie needed some cheering up, so she took the campmates for a little 'All That Jazz' lesson.

Good move, Vern, Mo and Bev who stayed well away from the, er, 'stage'.

  • SHANE HE CAN'T HEAR, BUT…

Someone really wants him to do well in the trial.

  • AND THEY'VE LOST THE TREAT CHALLENGE

Don't you just love it when they get the answer wrong at the kiosk?!

It gives me such an enormous sense of, what's the word, well-being.

  • RUTHIE'S IN TEARS

Ruthie's having a 'vulnerable moment'. Her warpaint's off and she's in bits.

“No one is strong or happy all the time,” Victoria comforted her.

Especially not in a freezing cold castle in Wales. It's no Maldives, is it?

  • WOOD-BURN YOU BELIEVE IT?!

Former contestant Kim Woodburn has mouthed off against the celebs being shown the “mechanics” of their trials at Gwrych Castle.

TV personality Kim, 78 — who came second in 2009 — said: “If this is true, this isn’t the jungle — it’s an absolute farce.

“It’s a cheat. I am truly appalled and disappointed as it truly is a great programme.”

  • HOW LONG DOES I'M A CELEBRITY 2020 LAST?

The 2020 series of I'm A Celebrity runs for three weeks.

Since season 13, the celebrities have spent 22 days in camp, and this series is no different.

This year, the show had to be moved from Murwillumbah, in Australia, to Gwrych Castle, in Abergele, North Wales, due to the pandemic.

Because of the coronavirus pandemic, this year has been even tougher for the celebs since they had to complete two weeks of enforced quarantine before the show even started.

Although they were allowed to have loved ones join them, they haven't been able to have physical contact with the outside world since early November.

  • SPOILER: SHANE RICHIE SCREAMS SURROUNDED BY 200 SPIDERS IN TRIAL

He then has to get stars off a screw using only his tongue in a box filled with the creepy crawlies and their webs.

It comes after he confidently announced that Jessica would “100 per cent” do the trial.

However, despite the EastEnders actress struggling in the 'Harm-oury' challenge, voters chose HIM to do it.

Shane starts cheerily enough in tonight's Cruel Jewels challenge, saying: “Here I go.”

  • WHERE IS I’M A CELEBRITY 2020’S CASTLE?

For the first time ever, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! is being filmed in the UK because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The location is in Gwrych Castle, north Wales. The owners are thought to be receiving £300,000 for the location rights, although the cash is likely to be used for repairs.

Richard Cowles, Director of Entertainment, at ITV Studios, said: “We pulled out all the stops to try and make the series happen in Australia.

“Unfortunately, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and despite us looking at many different contingencies, it became apparent that it just wasn’t possible for us to travel and make the show there.”

  • FANS INSIST CASTLE IS FAKE AND TRIALS TAKE PLACE ON SETS IN BIZARRE THEORY

Their suspicions were raised when fans suggested the castle setting looks like a set.

One person said: “I’ve just turned the telly on… (grunt). Is the imaceleb location a staged set? It looks fake. They’ve all got beds. And it looks like there’s rigged lighting? Totally lacks atmosphere imo. Maybe there are practical reasons but it seems dull compared to previous series.”

Others expanded on this, with one person saying there was no echo in the castle halls.

The fan suggested: “imaceleb @imacelebrity the quarters look so fake, there’s no echo when they speak or walk. Bring back the jungle 2021

While others believe they are at the castle, but they are living and performing on sets.

One person said: “I'm sorry but it's quite obvious most of the “camp” is a fake set. Yes I believe they're at a castle but they're basically on an updated set. Even when they walk it sounds like floating floorboards. All the old looking things are props imacelebrity imaceleb

  • WHEN WILL THE FIRST ELIMINATION TAKE PLACE?

The I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! contestants have been holed up in Gwrych Castle for more than a week now as the competition hits its halfway mark.

The show is set to run for three weeks as usual with Ant and Dec confirming the length on launch night.

No-one has been eliminated from the competition yet.

This is because the show typically begins the booting-out process just over a week before the finale. This is expected to be held next weekend.

  • I'M A CELEB PULLS IN VIEWERS TO SCORE RATINGS SUCCESS

The return of I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! has been a ratings hit for ITV.

The opening episode of the series, which is being filmed for the first time in Wales due to the coronavirus pandemic, attracted a TV audience of 13.8 million, consolidated viewing figures from the broadcaster show.

This is the second highest TV audience in the 18-year history of the show.

It also means I'm A Celebrity has pulled in the biggest TV audience for any non-news programme so far this year.

  • IT'S A SET UP

I'm A Celebrity fans are insisting the castle is fake and the trials take place on the sets in a bizarre theory.

The popular ITV show moved to Gwrych Castle near Abergele, Wales from the Australian jungle due to the pandemic.

The celebrities were seen entering the castle under the cover of darkness in a huge convoy on November 14.

But this hasn't stopped fans from speculating that the caste is actually fake.

I'm A Celeb fans' suspicions were raised when fans suggested the castle setting looks like a set.

  • BEV BARED ALL

I'm a Celebrity's Beverley Callard stripped for a raunchy role in a horror show.

Bev, 63, bared all for the steamy scene in Shades of Darkness — a 1983 series set in a haunted house.

She appears in a flashback scene as a barmaid.

A source said: “It was one of Bev’s first roles. She doesn’t say a word.

“She’s starkers and getting it on when the main character stumbles in.

“Blink and you’ll miss it. It lasts barely two seconds.

“No one really knows about it because it isn’t listed on her Wikipedia page. But this is how she started out.”

  • WHEN IS THE FINAL?

The finale of I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! 2020 will air on Friday, December 4 at 9pm.

Confirmed by ITV, the finale will be one hour and 35 minutes long.

  • WHAT DO VEGETARIANS EAT ON I’M A CELEBRITY?

Vegan and vegetarian participants receive a portion of tofu if the camp wins the appropriate stars on the Bush Tucker Trials.

Basic rations of rice and beans are vegetarian.

But this year, the ITV show will focus on unappetising British delicacies for the first time in it’s Bushtucker eating trials, including tripe and trotters.

A telly source said: “Producers are keen to celebrate British delicacies in the Bushtucker trials – both good and bad, from rough and ready tripe and trotters to traditions, like Black Pudding and rich, Welsh lamb, which non veggie contestants will found mouth-watering after starving on rations for weeks.

“This year the food in camp will be carefully worked out by nutritionists to make sure campmates are getting enough calories in the cold so they don’t burn through it and grind to a halt – which could be possible with the expected huge drop in temperature in Wales.”

  • FANS SAY AJ AND JESSICA’S TRIAL WASN’T IN THE ‘PITCH DARK’

AJ Pritchard and Jessica Plummer faced the toughest trial of the series, scrabbling around for stars in two rooms linked by a tunnel.

But while the trial was built on the premise that the stars couldn't see a thing, some viewers spotted lights – and shadows.

One wrote: “If it's pitch black in there, what the eff is that fat light in the tunnel casting shadows?”

Another tweeted: “It can’t be that dark?! I can see shadows and lights!?”

A third wanted to know: “If it’s pitch black why are there lights and shadows???”

  • I’M A CELEBRITY’S SHANE RICHIE’S SON DEFENDS HIS DAD’S MOOD SWINGS

During the episode last night, Shane was also spotted “gossiping” about fellow soap star Jessica Plummer.

Following the Bushtucker Trial, Shane was certain Jess would be chosen again because of her performance.

One wrote: “Shane Richie is so b****y!!! imaceleb.”

But taking to Twitter, Shane Jnr wrote: “Yes that’s right folks, my dad's human and isn’t a cheeky chappy 24/7.”

  • SHANE RICHIE WILL FACE ‘THE CRUEL JEWELS’ IN THE NEXT CHALLENGE

Ant and Dec broke the news that Shane, 56, will take on The Cruel Jewel tonight as they revealed the results of the latest viewer vote at the end of Monday's show.

The Geordie hosts said the EastEnders legend had been picked to face a “terrible treasure hunt” where he'll have to unscrew stars with his mouth while being covered in critters.

And people on Twitter reckoned viewers voted for him because they wanted to see him squirm, after he clashed with AJ Pritchard and moaned about Jessica Plummer earlier in the episode.

  • I’M A CELEBRITY’S BEVERLEY CALLARD STRIPPED OFF FOR X-RATED ROLE

Bev, 63, bared all for the steamy scene in Shades of Darkness — a 1983 series set in a haunted house.

She appears in a flashback scene as a barmaid.

A source said: “It was one of Bev’s first roles. She doesn’t say a word.

“She’s starkers and getting it on when the main character stumbles in.

“Blink and you’ll miss it. It lasts barely two seconds.
