I can’t stop searching dating sites to see if my husband is on them

SO INSECURE

DEAR DEIDRE: MY husband thinks I have forgiven him for chatting to women online – but I can’t stop scouring dating sites to see if he is on them.

He is 30, I am 31. We have been married for eight years and have three children. We both work full-time.

A year ago he hadn’t shut down the laptop properly and I found he was chatting to a woman. He had told her he was single with no kids and the tattoo of my name on his arm was of his ex’s name.

I was devastated but I forgave him.

I’ve discovered he’s at it again, and this time it involves lots of women. His excuse is pressure of work and he’s admitted he’s looking at a lot of porn too. All my trust in him has gone but I love him and wouldn’t look elsewhere.

DEIDRE SAYS: I’m sure life is very demanding for both of you but it doesn’t excuse him cheating online.

I know it is hard with three young children but you must carve out couple time. Organise a babysitter or agree an evening a week to devote to one another after the children are in bed. And he must cut out the porn – it is addictive and blunts the appetite for real-life sex.
