Holly Willoughby sank to the floor in a fit of laughter on This Morning as an alpaca spat in Phillip Schofield's face live on air.
The studio descended into chaos when members of the ITV crew had to intervene to take away the two furry animals who were appearing on the show.
Holly struggled to contain herself as Phil tried to calm Pete the alpaca down before it decided to aim at his face.
Chuckling away at the TV presenter's expense, Holly then jokingly asked her co-host: "What did it feel like? He was proper eyeing you up."
To which Phil simply replied: "Warm and wet."
The Yorkshire Vet had brought the fluffy guests in and Phil was given the task of handling the two animals - Pete and Spitfire - as they prepared for the show to start.
But the ITV host got more than he bargained for when all of a sudden one of them turned around and spat right in his face, leaving Phil in shock and Holly in a fit of laughter.
Phil struggled to control them as the show went live, with fearful Holly keeping her distance while giggling.
It wasn't long before the mum-of-three was curled up on the floor in hysterics, with Phil joining in on the laughter.
Holly then said: "Is there one day when we can not have animals in the studio?"
It seems viewers tuning in from home couldn't contain their laughter either, with many taking to social media to react to the hilarious moment.
One viewer said: "Those alpacas were the best start to the show #ThisMorning"
Another added: "Any #ThisMorning show that virtually starts with @hollywills on the floor is automatically categorised as ‘classic’ Holly and ‘classic’ This Morning. #alpacas"
A third put: "Look how far away Holly is stood from that Alpaca #ThisMorning"
