Greggs is giving away free pizza to 150,000 reward card customers

GREGGS is giving away free pizza to 150,000 members of its loyalty scheme.

The offer is available from today, 27 February, for select users of Greggs Rewards.

Greggs says it’s choosing who gets the free pizza based on which products they’ve been buying, so it won't be available to all users.

The lucky few will see the freebie in the “My Rewards” section of their Greggs Rewards account.

Click on this through the Greggs Rewards app and your phone will then generate a nine-digit or QR code which you’ll need to scan in store.

Make sure you tell staff you’re purchasing your pizza through the app before you hand over any cash, or you may be charged for it.

Users who are eligible for the freebie can redeem one free slice of Three Cheese or Three Cheese and Pepperoni pizza.

The offer is available until 26 March, meaning customers have 28 days to redeem it.

As this is an in-store only deal, you won’t be able to claim your freebie if you’re placing a delivery order on Just Eat.

We’ve asked Greggs if all 150,000 free slices of pizza have been allocated and we’ll update this article when we get a response.

The Sun is also checking which previously purchased items qualified users for the deal.

Per portion, a slice of Three Cheese pizza contains 547 calories, while the Three Cheese and Pepperoni has 616.

While it might be too late to get your hands on the free pizza, you can still sign up to Greggs Rewards for free online or by downloading the app.

The app can be downloaded via the App Store or Google Play.
