Ben Shephard has been hit with more than 1,000 Ofcom complaints after some GMB viewers were angered by his row with Rishi Sunak.
Last week, the Chancellor appeared on Good Morning Britain to speak with presenters Ben Shephard and Susanna Reid.
And Ofcom has since received 1,058 complaints over the tense interview which saw the presenters tear into Chancellor Rishi Sunak.
Ben had read out a tweet from Mr Sunak's account that said: "You have not been forgotten. We will not leave you behind. We are all in this together."
He added: "You went on to list all the business support schemes there were, for various people in various people in various forms of employment.
"Unfortunately that’s not true, is it?" Ben said to Mr Sunak, reports The Mirror.

He added: "There are 2.9million people, nearly 9% of the workforce, that are currently excluded or forgotten about from all of these schemes.
"For one reason or another they cannot get access to some of those schemes that you have put into place.
"What do you say to those members of the excluded, the self-employed people who can't get access, or who run small limited businesses that for the last eight or nine months have not received a penny of support of the government?"
Mr Sunak responded: "I don’t think that three million number is right, as you’ve used it.
"That number includes 1.5million people who do not qualify for the support scheme because they are not majority self-employed.
"They make the majority of their income from other forms of being employed and therefore they would be eligible to be furloughed."
Ben went to interrupt Mr Sunak, who continued talking at a louder volume to hold the floor.

Afterwards, Ben said the interview had been "frustrating" because of the limited time they can get with ministers.
Some viewers took to Twitter to praise the Chancellor's position and branded Ben and Susanna "amateurs".
One penned: "Rishi Sunak absolutely smashing it this morning. Ben and Susanna have been owned! #gmb ".
"Rishi Sunak absolutely schooling these jokers on #GMB," added another.
A third wrote: "Rishi Sunak making Ben and Susanna look like amateurs #GMB ".
But others accused Mr Sunak of lying, with one tweeting: " #GMB Rishi lied. He has NEVER met with #ExcludedUK. How does he get away with such blatant lies."
"Can all MPs please not let the chancellor get away with this? Rishi Sunak has NOT met any representatives of the #ExcludedUK On #GMB he stated that he had," remarked another.
The Mirror has contacted a representative for Good Morning Britain for comment.
