I'm A Celebrity viewers have shared their dissatisfaction following the hotly-anticipated comeback episode after the show was forced off air this week.

ITV hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly and the stars of the 2021 series were forced to evacuate the set earlier this week after Storm Arwen and poor weather conditions caused havoc on the set at Gwrych Castle.

The show was pre-recorded on Friday due to the weather conditions, before the decision to axe it on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

Although the show was confirmed to be cancelled on Monday night yet again for the third episode running, ITV assured fans that it would be back on Tuesday evening - but they were left less than impressed by the 'boring' comeback.

Fans switched off the comeback episode (

After avid I'm A Celeb fans missed out on three episodes, they were expecting big things for its return.

However, this wasn't the case, as some viewers were even forced to 'switch off' their TV's out of boredom.

As Ant and Dec made their return to the castle after the weather disaster, fans were hoping for more of a spectacle but it was simply the 'same old', according to a number of furious fans who flocked to Twitter to share their disappointment.

While many longtime I'm A Celebrity fans insisted that the show simply can't carry on after the cancelled episodes, others claimed that the Welch location is nothing compared to the Australian jungle.

"It's just not the same as the jungle. Huge disappointment," one fan fumed.

"I'm A Celeb 2021 is officially dead," another complained.

"I don't know why they bothered carrying on with this series. It's so boring," someone else added.

Meanwhile, another viewer admitted that they switched off.

Fans feel that there's a serious lack of drama this series (

"Honestly I had to switch channels. It's so boring and there's zero drama. Bring back Kim Woodburn and Katie Price," they complained.

The 2021 series has been hit with disaster after disaster since it first debuted on ITV on Nov 21.

The celebrities lost one of their finest trial blazers, Good Morning Britain host Richard Madeley, last week after he 'took a turn' during the night.

Although he felt 'as fit as a fiddle' once he was rushed to hospital for tests after suffering from dehydration, Richard was told that his time on I'm A Celebrity was over due to Covid restrictions.

Richard was forced to leave the show after taking a turn (

The 65-year-old revealed that he couldn't return to the campsite 'under any circumstances' in case he brought the virus back with him.

And following Richard's shock exit, the celebrities were too forced to make a swift departure from the I'm A Celeb castle after horrific weather conditions posed a number of threats.

Viewers are now uncertain whether the show will continue to the end of the series.
