Far-right militia leader threatens action at polling stations on election day to ‘protect Trump’

A FAR-right militia leader threatened to "do what needs to be done" at polling stations on election day to "protect Trump."

"They're accusing us of doing everything that they're actually trying to do," Rhodes claimed of Democrats.

He baselessly accused "terrorists on the street," of "coercing Trump supporters" and trying to stop them from getting into rallies, and "beating them for walking around with just a Trump t-shirt on."

"Of course you expect them to do that on election day – so those of us who are tasked with defending your rights, announce we're going to stand up and protect people on election day, they immediately spin that as if we're the ones going to be going out there," Rhodes said.

"You know our militia men are going to be out there on election day to intimidate voters."

He then accused Democrats of trying to "steal the election."

"That's what they're going to do. They're going to be stealing the election while accusing Trump and his followers of stealing it," Rhodes claimed.

"They'll be out there coercing and threatening people while accusing us of doing it."

As Rhodes spoke with far-right conspiracy theorist Jones, he made several other unhinged claims – including that of an upcoming Civil War.

Rhodes said his group would be ready to follow instructions from President Trump and take "deep state" members into custody.

He said the Oath Keepers would "do what we have to do."

He said the far-right group will be near the White House on election night, in case people try to carry out a "Benghazi-style" attack.

Rhodes also touted the idea of another civil war, and said his group has spoken with previous military veterans.

He said the Oath Keepers are ready to kill "street soldiers" and "go for their command and control."

Rhodes also slammed presidential candidate Joe Biden as a "puppet" – and baselessly slammed the Democratic party as "Communist."

The Southern Poverty Law Center describes the Oath Keepers as "one of the largest radical antigovernment groups in the U.S. today."

According to SPLC, Oath Keepers are "based on a set of baseless conspiracy theories about the federal government working to destroy the liberties of Americans."

Rhodes previously defended Trump in the 2016 election, and announced an "operation" to prevent the election being stolen from Trump.
