Liverpool are preparing to travel to Sheffield United on Sunday.
The Reds have suffered with injury problems throughout the season so far. The champions have had to deal with a number of blows this season including significant absences for Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez. Joel Matip then joined the duo on the sidelines.
It has now been confirmed that Jordan Henderson faces a significant spell out injured after suffering a groin problem in the Merseyside derby.
Diogo Jota, however, is nearing a return after a knee injury.
Here are the most recent updates on the Liverpool injury list including full details on when they could be expected to return.
Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has undergone successful surgery on the groin injury he suffered against Everton.
He is expected to play again this season after going under the knife this week.
Fabinho missed the Leicester match due to what Jurgen Klopp called a 'little muscle injury'.
He wasn't fit enough for the match with Leipzig or Everton and has yet to be pictured back in trainng.
James Milner left Liverpool's defeat to Leicester early due to a hamstring problem.
Like Fabinho, he missed the win over Leipzig and defeat to Everton and has yet to be pictured training.
Jota was expected to be back in in mid-February after suffering a knee injury in early December.
The Portuguese international was expected to be out for two months with the problem but only this week returned to full training. He could now play some part against Sheffield United.
Matip was replaced by Nathaniel Phillips at half-time of the Reds' game against Tottenham, leaving the 23-year-old to play alongside captain Jordan Henderson in the centre of defence.
Following the 3-1 win over Spurs, Jurgen Klopp confirmed Matip had suffered ankle ligament damage.
The Reds then confirmed on deadline day that Matip will miss the remainder of the season.
Klopp said: “We will wait for him. He has now the rest of this season, then the summer, then the pre-season to get ready again and he will be ready again.”
Gomez underwent a successful operation to repair tendon damage after suffering a significant injury during training with England back in November.
“[It is] a tough one but the surgery was successful, so he is now already recovering first from the surgery and then starting the rehabilitation," Klopp said.
“He is with his family, so he is in the best possible place I would say. That’s it, pretty much. Rehab has started now.
"After surgery you count from that moment backwards and we help as much as we can, but for the first few days all of the boys after surgery probably feel pretty alone.
"But when you have your family around – and that’s the case for him – then it’s as good as possible, that’s it.”
No timescale has been set on Gomez’s recovery, with Liverpool not completely ruling out the possibility of the centre-back playing again this campaign.

Virgil van Dijk
Liverpool will be without Van Dijk for the majority of the season at the very least after he sustained a serious ACL injury against Everton.
He underwent successful surgery in London but Liverpool are reluctant to put a timeframe on his return.
He was later pictured working with the club's coaches inside the gym and has been training in Dubai.
This week he returned to training outside on the pitches in Kirkby as he works his way back to full fitness.
