The first round draw of the FA Cup takes place this evening with 40 ties due to take place in the coming weeks.

And the 48 clubs in League One and League Two will join the competition at this stage.

In Greater Manchester, it means the likes of Wigan Athletic, Bolton Wanderers, Salford City, Oldham Athletic and Rochdale will enter the fray at this point.

The draw takes place this evening, and will be part of BT Sport’s coverage of the fourth qualifying round tie between Bishop’s Stortford and St Albans City.

As well as BT Sport, the draw can be watched on BBC Two, iPlayer and the BBC Sport website, while the FA Cup’s Facebook and Twitter channels will also be broadcasting it.

It is scheduled for around 7.10pm.
