The ex-husband of Premier League star Cesc Fabregas’s wife fainted and cried as he was jailed for seven months.
Daniella Semaan's ex, Chelsea property tycoon Elie Taktouk, 45, fainted and cried his eyes out for a whole 25 minutes as a judge jailed him for seven months for ignoring court orders.
Taktouk, of Cadogan Square, Chelsea, admitted six counts of violating a restraint order and eight counts of contempt of court. He was jailed for seven months.
It came as he was heard to have obstructed an investigation into his assets after Semaan left him for Spanish footie ace Fabregas, 33, the Sun reports.
Taktouk also screamed as he was in the dock and complained he was going to have a seizure before passing out, according to witnesses at London’s Southwark Crown Court.
He later had to be carried out of the courtroom.
The pair's relationship fell apart as Lebanese model Semaan, 45, hooked up with the former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder.
They married in Lebanon in 1998, had two children and split 13 years later. The divorce was not amicable and led to a high-profile legal battle as Taktouk was ordered to reveal his assets.
The court heard this week he sold he former family home in Belgravia after failing at the Court of Appeal to block the £5.5million sale of the Grade-II property.
Semaan reputedly received £1.4 million as her share in the property.
The Sun report he also disregarded orders barring him from buying plane tickets and failing to disclose bank statements.
Judge Deborah Taylor told him: “You were deliberately trying to obstruct investigations.”
Taktouk, of Chelsea, West London, admitted breaches of a restraint order and contempt.
Judge Taylor added: “You’ve no personal assets so any fine would be met by others.”
Fabregas has been with Daniella Semaan, who has over 2 million followers on Instagram, since 2011 and they have three children together.
Fabregas, currently plays for the Spanish national team and Monaco FC.
