Bodycam footage shows the sickening moment Arthur Labinjo-Hughes' murderer faked crying while shockingly trying to blame him for the attack.
Emma Tustin, 32, was filmed being quizzed by police after Arthur suffered a catastrophic head injury.
Horrifyingly, she told officers who asked her what happened that the youngster had provoked her by headbutting her.
Sick Tustin, found guilty of murder, calmly replies to the officer saying: “Basically, he [Hughes], has gone out to get me a birthday card and cake and stuff for the kids.
“Arthur was told to sit on the thinking step. He put himself all over the floor.
“He’s banged himself off the radiator, he’s hit me, he’s kicked me in the process of me trying to get him back on the thinking step.”
Taking a deep intake of breath, Tustin went on: “He then got on all fours and I told him to get up and shut the door.
“All I heard was a crack off the floor. He was headbutting the floor on all fours.
“He headbutted the floor and I told him ‘get up, you’re going to hurt yourself. I’ll phone your dad.’
“He said ‘I don’t care’ and at that point he was fine and then he dropped his head as I’ve tried to bear hug him and pick him up and he headbutted the floor three times.”
The officer then asks Tustin to point out where Arthur had hit his head and she takes her through the door explaining that the floor was “concrete” with “no underlay under” it.
Tustin added: “He hit his head three or four times and when I went to pick him up he’d knocked himself unconscious.
“I picked him up and put him on the sofa, poured water in his mouth.”
The officer then asks Tustin to go over her version of events and she attempts to mimic Arthur looking dazed and confused.
Tustin, who is standing next to Hughes, then breaks down in tears and tries to blame Arthur.

She tearfully tells the officer: “The last six months, he’s battered both my kids and smashed this house to pieces.
“He’s battered his dad, he’s hit me. When I tried to get him off the floor, he headbutted me and he’s hit me and kicked me.
“Yesterday we went to my friend’s house and he pushed me down five stairs.”
Imitating the six-year-old, Tustin says: “You’re not my real name, I hate you.
“I’m going to get my mum to kill you.”
Tustin, wiping tears away, said: “Even so, I’ve done my best with that kid.
“He f***ing hates me. I tried to get him off the floor.”
Emma Tustin, 32, and 29-year-old Thomas Hughes went on trial after little Arthur Labinjo-Hughes suffered an "unsurvivable" brain injury during lockdown in June 2020.
Tustin was today found guilty of murder and Hughes of manslaughter.
The trial heard an audio recording in which Arthur can be heard saying "no-one loves me", and another in which he cried "no-one's gonna feed me".
Haunting video footage shows the moment he struggled to lift a light duvet and struggled to stand just hours before he died.
