AC Milan could want Sidibe

AC Milan are reportedly in the market for a right-back and Everton’s Djibril Sidibe has been listed as a potential candidate.

A report from Calcio Mercato (cited here) suggests the defender is one of three players being considered.

This includes Tottenham’s Serge Aurier and Lille’s Mehmet Zeki Celik.

The Monaco loanee has made just one appearance for the Blues since his arrival in the summer.

Everton will have the option to buy the 27-year-old at the end of his Goodison Park loan.

Not the result Everton were looking for this afternoon in a hard fought encounter.

Everton Women score an equaliser after Reading took the lead. It has been quite an exciting first half.

Coleman eyes big result

Everton captain Seamus Coleman is eyeing a big result for the boys in green on Tuesday.

The Ireland star was speaking after his side’s goalless draw with Georgia on Saturday night.

Coleman said: “I do think we’re capable of a big result, I’ve always said that. Over the last few years, we’ve proven that bar that bad year last year, we are capable of big results.

“We have to go for it anyway Tuesday night. We won’t be sitting back - the game might dictate that you might sit back, but we’ll be going there looking for the win.”

Keane slammed

Darren Bent has claimed Michael Keane should be replaced by Liverpool’s Joe Gomez in the England set up.

The former Spurs striker slammed Keane’s performance following the Three Lions’ loss to Czech Republic on Friday night.

He told Football Insider: “Michael Keane at the minute is having a tough time. For the first goal for the Czech Republic it’s his man that scores, unfortunately.

“He’s marking him, he gets caught out – it’s not initially the first one that’s going to hurt you, it’s the second one, the knockdown and that’s what happened.

“I think him and England looked suspect all night from crosses and deliveries into the box. I’d like to see Joe Gomez come in for Keane, it might be a bit harsh on Keane.”

Everton Women

Everton Women are in action this afternoon and we’ll be sure to bring you score updates from their game against Reading.

Marco Silva latest

According to reports, Everton manager Marco Silva has ‘three games to turn things around’ at Goodison Park.

A Bola via Sport Witness claim the Portuguese boss met with Blues officials during the international break to discuss the current situation.

The report suggests Silva has three games to get Everton back on track.

At the start of the season the Blues were shooting for the top six but now find themselves in the relegation zone.

Next up for Everton are West Ham at home, then a trip to Brighton before a League Cup round of 16 against Silva’s old club Watford.

They will no doubt be crucial fixtures, and hopefully after a dismal start the Blues can claw their way up the table and give the fans some goals and performances to celebrate.

A place in the quarter final of the Carabao Cup could be the perfect recipe for that!

PSG star 'tracked'

Everton are reportedly monitoring Paris Saint-Germain starlet Colin Dagba.

This comes according to French outlet Paris United (via Inside Futbol) who insist a January move for the 21-year-old right-back could be a possibility.

Though it is also claimed the youngster is keen on forging a career with the Ligue 1 leaders.
