Everton have until 1pm tomorrow to officially begin the appeals process over Lucas Digne’s red card.
Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti signalled the club’s intent to fight against the three game ban facing the left-back after his dismissal against Southampton today.
Digne was shown a red card by referee Kevin Friend after catching the Achilles of Kyle Walker-Peters in the second-half of today’s game at St Mary’s Stadium.

The France international is currently set for a three game ban, which would see him miss games with Newcastle, Manchester United and Fulham.
But Ancelotti, who called the decision “a joke”, wants the club to appeal.
The Football Association say Everton must make clear their intention to lodge a claim of wrongful dismissal by 1pm tomorrow and then have until 1pm on Tuesday to provide any written and/or video evidence to support their case.
Everton have to prove to a regulatory commission that Friend made an “obvious error” in showing Digne a red card.
