EMMANUEL ADEBAYOR has replied in the most '90s way possible to fans slamming him on social media.
The 35-year-old striker shared a photo of him celebrating a goal for Manchester City against his former club Arsenal ten years ago.
It became famous, less for him finding the back of the net and more for him celebrating wildly in front of the Gunners fans.
Bottles and other objects were thrown in the direction of the ex-Real Madrid loanee, with the player later fined £25,000 by the FA over his celebration.
The former Tottenham striker revealed earlier this year that he acted in the manner he did because he was the subject of racist abuse from Arsenal fans.
He left Arsenal under a cloud, and was booed by many Gunners fans every time he featured against them.
Unsurprisingly, after sharing the photo of his celebration on Instagram, some football fans weren't too happy.
So Adebayor reacted - be wheeling out the "your mum" jokes.
Kelvin Padosky wrote: "And after dat celebration your career nosedived. True or false?"
To which Adebayor replied: "After I went straight with your mum."
Another wrote: "At the end of all the running, how did your career end?"
The forward wrote back: "In your mum."
He decided to go crude to one comment.
An Instagram user wrote: "The most silliest stupidest thing I have ever see you do bro", to which he replied: "Is taking your mum from behind."
Adebayor is currently plying his trade out in Turkey with Kayserispor.
