EastEnders fans spot clue Jags is set for shock exit as actor Amar Adatia ‘prepares to leave’

EASTENDERS fans have spotted a clue that Jags is set for a shock exit as actor Amar Adatia "prepares to leave".

The 34-year-old star joined the BBC One soap as one of the Panesar brothers last year, but some have now speculated that his time in Walford is coming to an end.

Taking to Twitter, one viewer shared a screenshot taken from a showreel company's Instagram account.

Alongside a photo of Amar in character as Jags, they had written: "Great to work with the talented @AmarAdatia recently on his new acting showreel.

"We particularly loved these scenes as Jags in EastEnders. Keep up the great work!"

The fan captioned the post: "Just saw this on Instagram. Hopefully this means Jags is going."

Eastenders fans predict newbie Jags might save Chantelle from abuser Gray

It comes just days after soap forum users speculated that Chantelle will be murdered by her evil husband Gray after they saw that actress Jessica Plummer had recently taken new headshots.

Actors typically use headshots and showreels to help them secure work, but some EastEnders fans argued that it is not unheard of that stars would be keeping their portfolios updated while still working on the show.

Interestingly, Chantelle is linked to the Panesar family, and it has been predicted that she will have a steamy affair with Jags' brother Kheerat.

She is an old school friend of Jags' and was given a job working for their company, with she and Kheerat growing close when the lock of the room they were in broke - trapping them together.
