Deliveroo app and website down leaving customers unable to order

DELIVEROO appears to be down this afternoon, leaving hundreds of hungry customers unable to order food.

Customers are reporting issues with both the Deliveroo app and website.

Outage tracker DownDetector showed more than 300 complaints from frustrated users shortly after 12pm today, April 7.

A map on DownDetector shows issues being reported mainly in London, which is where the majority of Deliveroo's restaurant partners are based in the UK.

Taking to Twitter, one customer asked the online food delivery company: "Is Deliveroo down?

"Tried two accounts, on both web and app, and can't place an order."

Another user said: "I think your order system is down."

Meanwhile, another customer tweeted an image of an error message which reads "couldn't get restaurant details".

They tweeted: "Your app and your website show the same order when trying to access your restaurants. Are you aware of this?"
