A Trump fanatic who allegedly stormed the US Capitol was arrested alongside 1,000 rounds of ammunition in on Inauguration Day.

Samuel Fisher was also in possession of at least one shotgun, two machetes, an American flag and tactical gear when he was arrested in New York, it is claimed.

Dramatic footage shows the 35-year-old dating coach lying on the ground as FBI agents order him to put his hands behind his back.

Fisher was charged with trespassing in a restricted area and disorderly conduct after the fatal storming of Congress.

Prosecutors also allege he travelled to Washington DC with firearms and a bulletproof vest, although it is not known whether he took these inside the building.

He later allegedly bragged about his involvement on social media, with one picture showing him standing outside the Capitol holding a pistol.

In the post he allegedly said: "Can't wait to bring a liberal back to this freedom palace."

It is claimed he also posted: "It is time to bring pain upon them."

Prosecutors also allege he wrote on Facebook : "We must stand up to these people and take our world back."

The FBI said Fisher breached the Capitol and posted photos of himself with guns.

The day after the siege he apparently told someone he was there - and that even though people died and he got tear-gassed, it was "great".

"Seeing cops literally run ... was the coolest thing ive ever seen in my life," he is quoted as saying.

His request for bail has reportedly been denied, although his defence lawyer says his 'political beliefs are not a crime', The Sun reports.
