Daniel Dubois will bring his famous KO punching power Stateside on the undercard of Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley later this month.
The hard-hitting knockout artist will face American Joe Cusumano in a defence of his interim heavyweight belt on a card that will also feature a unified world title fight between Amanda Serrano and Yamileth Mercado.
Mirror Fighting exclusively broke the news over the weekend that Dubois would be fighting, as well as Love Island star Tommy Fury, who will also make his American debut against MMA fighter Anthony Taylor.
Dubois had hoped to fight for a version of the WBA world title but a deal with 'champion' Trevor Bryan could not be reached.
Cusumano is a 19-3 fighter, who won the US heavyweight title in his last outing on November 28 as part of the Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr event in Los Angeles
Dubois returned to winning ways in June against Bogdan Dinu, picking up the interim heavyweight title, which earned him the bout with Bryan for his American debut.
The Brit lost his first pro fight last November against Joe Joyce after being forced to quit in round 10 of their highly-anticipated meeting, but came back to brutally stop the Romianian next time out.
He began working with trainer Shane McGuigan, who guided the likes of Lawrence Okolie, Josh Taylor and Carl Frampton to world titles and appears to have improved his game significantly.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to put on an explosive performance in front of a US audience and show them who the future heavyweight champion of the world is going to be," Dubois said.
“I am ready now to push on and build on the WBA interim title I won in my last fight.
“I am thrilled to take the show on the road and look to win the American public over. I am told the American public love heavyweight boxing, so it is time to introduce them to Daniel Dubois.
“I will make sure it is a name they won’t forget in a hurry.”
Elsewhere on the massive Cleveland, Ohio, fight night, Love Island star Fury will face MMA fighter Taylor in another American debut.
Fury is 6-0 in the boxing ring, having recently defeated the unbeaten Jordan Grant on the undercard of a Frank Warren show in Telford.
Mirror Fighting understands that he has signed a two-fight deal with Showtime in the United States, with the intention being for the broadcaster to eventually make a fight between him and Paul.
Taylor is known for his social media trolling of top MMA fighters and boxers, as well as his high profile bouts with the likes of UFC fighters Dean Barry and Chris Avila.
He first linked up with the Paul camp ahead of the YouTube star's bout with Ben Askren in April, after a social media callout was picked up on by head coach BJ Flores.
And he impressed in the four rounds they did together in the gym, being asked to become a main sparring partner when the YouTube star moved his camp to Puerto Rico for the Woodley fight.
The American holds a record of 7-5 in the MMA cage and 0-1 in the boxing ring, losing his debut in 2017.
