A Scottish man has gone viral with his attempt at lifting the nation's spirits amid the coronavirus pandemic with his song about toilet paper, or the lack of it.

People across the UK have gone to amazing efforts trying to make their lockdown that little bit more enjoyable while they stay indoors to try and halt the Covid-19 crisis.

Andy McNeill's version of Bob Seger's classic Old Time Rock n Roll has taken the internet by storm, Daily Record reports.

The songwriter has been making music for more than 20 years which he shares on his Facebook page.

Among the 3,200 people to have shared the video was Lorna Williamson, who posted: "No.1 by the weekend!"

While Victor Colquhoun said: “Ah you've brightened my day fella, good show.”
