Coronavirus: Infection rates fall across all but one East Lancashire borough

BURNLEY has recorded the fifth highest rate of coronavirus infections of the 13 English boroughs in which rates are still rising.

The town was found to have risen from 99 cases per 100,000 people to 110.2 per 100,000.

Meanwhile Blackburn with Darwen, Hyndburn, Pendle and the Ribble Valley have all recorded all fall in infection rates in the seven days leading to February 28 compared to the seven days to February 21.
