Coronation Street is lining up danger for Todd Grimshaw next week, as he's hit by a car and left for dead.
Todd is revealed to be the victim of a hit-and-run, and he is rushed to hospital.
His mother Eileen soon informs his ex Billy of the worrying news, before being relieved to find out he's going to be okay.
It all kicks off at the start of the week, before a police investigation into the incident gets underway.
Shona Ramsey arrives home to husband David Platt, before alarming him with a confession.
She reveals she stepped out in the night to move his car, but panicked when she believed she had hit something.
In her worry over her actions, the café worker ended up driving away from the scene and fleeing in the car.
David decides to head back there with Shona, fearing his wife might have hit someone, but they find nothing there and no evidence of an impact.
There is a dent in the car though, and David takes it to the garage to get it sorted with the help of mechanic Abi Franklin.
But to the pair and Shona's horror, it soon emerges that she may have run over Todd.
Shona is forced to come clean to Abi about the dent, revealing she hit something while driving David's car.
She and David beg Abi to stay quiet and to not tell the police, as they continue to investigate the incident.
She reluctantly agrees after helping them with the car, but will it land her in trouble?
Later on in the week, Todd struggles with his memory as he wakes up after the crash.
As he recovers from his injuries, left battered and bruised from the accident, he tells mum Eileen he can't remember what happened.
He remembers little things, but nothing concrete or that would expose who ran him over and left him in the road.
But the good news is he's on the mend, leaving Eileen relieved - but will it bring Todd and ex Billy closer together again?
