Corey Feldman has claimed he has to have 24 hour security after he exposed an alleged Hollywood paedophile ring.

The former child star appeared in a live Twitter broadcast with his wife Courtney to talk about his upcoming documentary, My Truth: The Rape of Two Coreys.

His film details the sexual abuse he and his late friend Corey Haim allegedly suffered when they were passed around to Hollywood paedophiles as children.

But Corey, now 48, says accusing powerful people of such shocking crimes means he is living in fear of his life.

He said: "There are things you have to do for insurance reasons when you're putting out something like this.

"This is very, very dangerous stuff and it's very risky stuff.

"You know we have to have 24 hour armed security, we don't know what's gonna happen.

"Of course we have fear, there's been two attempts on my life. There obviously could be more, we hope not but we don't know what's going to happen.

"It's scary, it's very, very scary."

Corey tweeted in the early hours of March 28 2018 claiming he'd been hospitalised after a man stabbed him while they were both out in public.

The actor tweeted two pictures of himself in a hospital bed and revealed the attack happened while his security guards were distracted.

Despite fearing for his life, Corey said he was honouring a promise he made to Corey Haim that he would tell his story.

Haim died of pneumonia in 2010 at the age of 38.

Corey explained: "He asked me specifically, and I'm going to be very clear about this, he asked me specifically before he died to promise him that if for whatever reason he died before I did I would promise to tell that story.

"I made that promise and I stick to my promises because I'm a man of my word."
