A ladies charity night will be held this weekend in memory of a much-loved Valley mum who died suddenly two years ago.

Elisa Hindle, of Crawshawbooth, died in May 2017 aged 42, just a few days after suddenly contracting Sepsis on her way home from a family wedding.

Friends and family remember Elisa as full of life, always with a smile on her face and loved by everyone who knew her.

She was well known in Rossendale and Burnley, having worked as a hairdresser, a barmaid at the Black Dog in Crawshawbooth, and as a self-employed cleaner.

The charity night on Saturday, September 14 is being held at Burnley Football Club to raise funds and awareness. Tickets sold out within a month.

Compered by Jason Tansey, the event will include raffles, a comedian, vocalists, auctions, a tombola, a presentation on Elisa’s Sepsis story and pie and pea supper.

The event has only been made possible thanks to donations from many local companies and individuals, friends and family.

Elisa’s sisters Sharon and Sarah say they have been overwhelmed with the kindness and the support from everyone who has donated and want to thank them from the bottom of their hearts.
