Brooklyn Beckham and his fiancée Nicola Peltz are heartbroken after revealing their dog Frankie has died.

The couple both posted tributes on their Instagram pages last night along with a series of snaps of their beloved pooch.

One sad shot appears to show bulldog Frankie’s final moments as Brooklyn and Nicola bury their faces into his fur.

“Frankie was the strongest, kindest dog I’ve ever met,” an emotional Brooklyn told his 12 million followers.

“He was so gentle and it was an honor to be his dad. I miss you so much my boy. I love you so much.”

Brooklyn, 22, also shared a close up of the dog tattoo he recently got in tribute to Frankie.

Brooklyn’s fiancée Nicola also took to Instagram to talk about the loss of their four legged family member.

The 26-year-old Bates Motel actress told fans her heart was “shattered’ by the news.

Sharing a teary eyed photo of herself lying on the bed next to her beloved Frankie, she wrote: “My heart is shattered.

“My angel Frankie has gone to heaven and I can’t fathom the idea of not being able to kiss his face one more time.

“Every room he walked into everyone ran to him. His energy was so pure and full of happiness.

“He was the kindest dog I’ve ever met. The fact I got to be his mom is one of the proudest things I can say.

“I miss him so much, my heart will never be the same without him here on earth.

"I love you so much frankie and I know I’ll see you again one day. Thank you for loving me..”

The sad news comes after Nicola posted snaps of Brooklyn visiting a tattoo parlour on Tuesday.

In the clip which she shared with her 2.1 million Instagram followers, Brooklyn got Frankie’s face inked on his forearm.

The artwork, which looks just like their late pooch, was done by celebrity tattoo artist Doctor Woo.

Nicola also shared a snap of Frankie and Brooklyn cuddling with the caption: “My boys are so amazing.”

Another snap shows Nicola asleep on the bed with her pooch Frankie next to the words: “Frankie baby.”

Sadly, just four days later their beloved Frankie passed away. Neither of the stars gave any more detail as to how their pet had died.

As well as his tattoo of Frankie, Brooklyn also has a tribute to his future wife inked on his body.

The aspiring chef has Nicola’s striking eyes tattooed on the back of his neck with a love letter Nicola wrote to him underneath.

It reads: "My forever boy. Read this anytime you feel anxious. I want you to know how deeply loved you are.

"You have the kindest heart I've ever met and hope I never go a day without your love."

Nicola has also chosen to express her love for her fiancé in a more permanent fashion. She has Brooklyn’s name written on her upper back.
