Balham shooting: Man in his 20s dies after he’s ‘blasted in back of head with shotgun’ in Lawless London

A MAN in his 20s has been killed after he was blasted in the back of his head with a shotgun in London.

Witnesses say the man was killed in a doorstep execution by a drive-by shooter in Balham.

Police were called at approximately 10.50pm yesterday night to reports of a man suffering gunshot injuries.

Cops and the London Ambulance Service arrived at the scene and the man, believed aged in his 20s, was taken to hospital for treatment.

But despite the best efforts of the emergency services he was pronounced dead just after 11.30pm.

Witnesses say the man was shot in the back of his head while outside a home Bedford Hill.

They say the killer used a shotgun to issue the fatal blow in a drive-by-shooting styled attack.

Scores of police were seen at the scene last night and the area remains cordoned off this morning.

A murder investigation has now been launched but so far no one has been arrested.

The man's next of kin have been informed and a post-mortem examination will soon take place.
