Humberside Road Police arrested a suspected car thief over a string of offences on Saturday night (November 27).
Traffic police intercepted a stolen red Audi in Hessle and with the assistance of the Police Dog Unit detained the driver.
The police patrol identified the vehicle as stolen and flagged the driver down but he failed to stop and drove dangerously before he was halted.
Police dogs were despatched to assist in his arrest. The suspect has been remanded in custody pending further enquiries.
Humberside Police tweeted at 11.42pm: "A busy start this evening! Alongside the Roads Crime Team and Dog Unit weâ€™ve pursued the below Audi in #Hessle of which was stolen in a burglary.
"Vehicle safely recovered with one male in custody for burglary, dangerous driving, failing to stop and theft offences to name a few!"
