Budget grocery chain Aldi is offering a cut-price alternative to one of the nation's favourite takeaway pizza options with the launch of its latest Carlos variety.
Toppings include three new flavours – Cheese Feast, Double Pepperoni and Meat Feast - with its total menu package up to 84 per cent cheaper than a popular high street outlet.
The new Carlos Takeaway Stuffed Crust Cheese Feast Pizza (£3.29, 670g) is a cheese lover’s dream with a crust stuffed to the brim with gooey cheese and topped with mild cheddar, mature cheddar, mozzarella, and Red Leicester - creating the perfect cheese pull.
Meat eaters can enjoy one of the mighty meaty pizzas. The Carlos Takeaway Stuffed Crust Double Pepperoni Pizza (£3.29, 679g), is topped with smoky pepperoni, mini pepperoni pieces and mozzarella cheese.
The cheese feast and double pepperoni come with a cheesy stuffed crust, and all three delicious new pizzas are served in a takeaway style box.
No pizza order is complete without a side of garlic bread or a creamy garlic dip. The Carlos Takeaway Garlic Pizza Bread (99p, 145g) and the tangy Garlic & Herb Dip (49p, 100g) is also available in Aldi.
Customers have been raving about the Aldi options. One satisfied shopper on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, said: "I personally thought it tasted exactly the same as Domino's'," while another added: "Best dip I've had in ages!! I need to get more."
The products - costing a total of £12.84 compared to more than £66 from a takeaway chain - are available now, just in time to enjoy whilst watching the Euros.
