If you want to make your Easter feast one to remember by ending on a sweet note, you're in luck.

Aldi has combined two classic treats to create a hot cross bun bread and butter pudding for Easter - and we can't wait to try it.

The glorious treat is inspired by the much-loved bread pudding, but it has been given a special twist in time for Easter Sunday on April 12.

It's made using layers of subtly spiced hot cross buns and contains a delicious Madagascan vanilla custard filling.

Priced at only £1.99, the hybrid dessert will be available to buy in store from Saturday April 4th. We think it's perfect for serving after an Easter roast.

Aldi's hot cross bun pudding is available from April 12th

The Specially Selected Hot Cross Bun Pudding are only expected to be around until Easter, which is less than two weeks away.

Hungry customers won't be able to find it on the website so will need to buy it from their local Aldi store.

Aldi currently has around 830 stores across the UK, and you can track down your nearest branch by using the online store finder tool here.

We've had a look and the retailer is currently the only supermarket selling the hot cross bun bread and butter pudding.

If you're in the mood for some regular hot cross buns, we've picked our top picks from the likes of Morrisons and Sainsbury's that you can buy now.
