Jordan Davies, who was allegedly murdered in Barry , was a father of two young children, it has been confirmed.
Jordan, 23, died following a fatal assault on Holton Road on a busy street packed with Christmas shoppers.
Paying tribute to him, his family said: “Jordan was a loving son, brother, and father of two young children. He was also a keen football player.
“Jordan will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
“We ask that our privacy is now respected during what is an extremely difficult time.”
Police confirmed on Tuesday the 23-year-old received fatal stab wounds as their murder investigation continues.
Jordan Brown, 24, from Barry, was charged with his murder in the early hours of this morning and will now appear before Cardiff Magistrates’ Court.
He is due to appear at court today.
Detectives are continuing to appeal to anyone with information to come forward.
