19 photos of Hull pint lovers celebrating the end of lockdown

Pint lovers were back in beer gardens across Hull as pubs reopened for the first time in months.

Pubs were allowed to serve once again as the latest easing of lockdown restrictions allowed beer gardens to be open for business.

It has been months since people were in Hull were able to pick up a pint at their local bar and it was no surprise to see the pubs that could open again was busy with punters.

City centre beer gardens and outdoor tables were busy with drinkers throughout the day as people enjoyed their first pulled pint in months.

The latest easing of lockdown also gave food lovers a chance to enjoy the city’s restaurants once again.

Despite chilly conditions outdoor tables were filled with people who had not been able to enjoy dining out for a long time.

Although it is a step towards normality, social mixing indoors will remain heavily restricted, with around two in five adults yet to receive their first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine and the vast majority yet to get both.
