Suva Grammar School, Marist Brothers High School, Ratu Kadavulevu School and Queen Victoria School have qualified for the Fiji Secondary Schools Under-19 cricket competition to be staged next week.

Suva Grammar School, Marist Brothers High School, Ratu Kadavulevu School and Queen Victoria School have qualified for the Fiji Secondary Schools Under-19 cricket competition to be staged next week.
In the first quarterfinal John Wesley College batted first and scored 59 runs with a fall of 5 wickets. Timoci Lewanavanua with 21/18 runs. Cody Ferreras bowled 2/10 wickets. Suva Grammar then batted and scored 60 runs with a fall of 4 wickets. Cakacaka Sotia 17/12 runs. Timoci Lewanavanua 2/20 wickets. Suva Grammar won by 6 wickets.
In the second quarterfinal, William Cross College batted first and scored 25 runs all out. Loloma 8/18 runs. Jone of MBHS with 3/1 wickets. Marist then batted and scored 26 runs with a fall of 2 wickets. Roman Hughes with 8/5 runs. Usa of WCC taking 2/10 wickets. Marist won by 8 wickets.
The third quarterfinal saw Lami High School batted first and scored 67 runs with a fall of 9 wickets. Waisale with 15/11 runs. Panapasa took 6/9 wickets for RKS. RKS then batted and scored 71 runs with a fall of 5 wickets. Jonacani scored 30/16 runs. Anitelu took 2/7 wickets. RKS won by 5 wickets.
QVS batted first in the final quarterfinal and scored 76 runs with a fall of 2 wickets. Sefa Matai top scored with 30/28 runs. Iyaz Ali took 1/14 wickets.
Nasinu Muslim then batted and scored 29 runs all out. Hazzan scored 12/12 runs. Michael Raphael took 5/3 wickets. QVS won by 47 runs.
