Former Republic of the Fiji Military Forces Commander, Brigadier-General Mosese Tikoitoga, is the new High Commissioner to Papua New Guinea (PNG).
President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere congratulated Mr Tikoitoga on his diplomatic appointment and wished him well during the commissioning yesterday.
The reopening of the Fiji High Commission in Port Moresby will ensure legacies of friendship, mutual respect, understanding, and allegiance established by founding forefathers, Ratu Sir Kamisese Mara, and Sir Michael Thomas Somare, as well as the efforts of past mission heads are maintained and carried forward.
