Members of a religious community in Boca, Labasa are in shock after their temple was allegedly broken into and items stolen from two households.
Shree Sanatan Dharam Boca Ramayan Mandali president Surendra Prasad said when Sat Sangeeta Mahila Mandal members went to clean the temple on Monday, they found five louver blades missing.
“When they enter the temple the money box was missing with about $30 in it,” Mr Prasad said.
“The robbers broke the two-door cabinet locker and thank God they didn’t steal anything else like the musical instruments and kitchen utensils.”
