Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka yesterday visited Ratu Kadavulevu School (RKS) in Lodoni, Tailevu, to see first-hand the burnt Ratu Sukuna House Dormitory.

Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka yesterday visited Ratu Kadavulevu School (RKS) in Lodoni, Tailevu, to see first-hand the burnt Ratu Sukuna House Dormitory.
Mr Rabuka was received by principal Ilaisa Waqalala, who briefed the PM about the fire incident and temporary arrangements made for the 145 students affected.
The PM learned that the fire destroyed the top floor of the dormitory; the bottom floor was partially destroyed.
“Help is on the way,” he said.
“I’am thankful to God that all the 145 students of Bure Sukuna are safe.”
“To the RKS management, affected students and parents, be rest assured that your Government will work with relrvant stakeholders to provide the much-needed assistance.”
Mr Rabuka also visited the teachers and students at Queen Victoria School (QVS), saying it was”…always refreshing to visit my former school.”
