Government, People’s Alliance Present Reguregu for Tui Nawaka

The late Momo na Tui Nawaka, Ratu Tomasi Kanailagi Naevo, is remembered as a leader who humbly served his people.

Yesterday, the Minister for Rural, Maritime Development and Disaster Management Sakiasi Ditoka led the People’s Alliance members to present their reguregu for the late chief at Nawaka Village.

Afterwards, the Prime Minister, Sitiveni Rabuka, along with the Attorney-General (A-G) Siromi Turaga and Minister for Youth and Sports Jese Saukuru and Government officials also presented their reguregu.

After the traditional presentation, Mr Rabuka said the traditional gathering and the reguregu presentation showed their gratitude to the leadership of Tui Nawaka.
