Regine Velasquez now has a regular hosting gig
Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez is officially the new Momshie host in the Kapamilya morning talk show Magandang Buhay.
Regine has already done several talk shows in the past. When she was still in the Kapuso network, she had her own talk show Sarap Diva. Now, she is part of another talk show and it is on the Kapamilya network.
When Queen Mother Karla Estrada had to say goodbye to the show for her political stint, Regine was the one who replaced her. Due to the Iconic concert series of the Asia’s Songbird with Megastar Sharon Cuneta in the States, she also had to bid farewell to the show.
Then, Soap Opera Queen Judy Ann Santos came as a replacement until it was confirmed that Momshie Karla will no longer come back to the show. The Queen Mother did her “paalam” episode. With this, ABS-CBN teased the Momshie who will join Momshies Melai Cantiveros and Jolina Magdangal permanently.
It was revealed on Monday, August 8, that Regine Velasquez has become an official Momshie host. She was formally introduced and this received positive feedback from netizens and avid viewers of the Kapamilya morning talk show.
The new regular host was revealed along with the show’s celebration of its 6th anniversary. Jolina, Regine, and Melai’s trio is dubbed JOREME, which is coined from the Songbird’s movie DoReMi with Donna Cruz and Mikee Cojuangco.
Meanwhile, Regine caught the attention of the online community last month because of her song performance. She even made fun of herself. It is because she nonchalantly carried her microphone upside down. When she was about to sing, she just realized that it was “baliktad.” Her fans expressed amused reactions to this.
