Over the years, wigs have evolved to become so realistic that it’s hard to tell what’s real and what’s not.

It appears women are no longer the only ones benefiting from the amazing work that is taking place in the wig world as wigs or rather “hair replacements” for men have taken the market by storm.

Years ago, bald men would have no choice but to rock the look after having their hair fall out prematurely.

These days, many hairstylists and barbers have tapped into the market and are now proving bald men with a great solution — wigs and weaves designed for men.

The male hair extension market is taking everyone by storm and is definitely a great solution to problems such as hair loss, early balding, and alopecia.

How much does it cost for a new hairdo?

These hairpieces, just likehuman hair for women, don’t come cheap.

In fact, the more realistic the hair looks, the more money it will cost.

One South African man, 39-year-old Ethan Chalklen, says that he pays around R2000 to get his wig installed. According to him, the wig usually lasts for two months before he has to has back to the salon to get a touch-up.

The young man also reveals that installing the weave takes around two hours.
