MBABANE – Internationally acclaimed superstar Uncle Waffles brought the house down during her performance at Pop Sunday.

The show was held at The Albert Millin on Sunday. The popular social event, which is hosted by DeckLife, came back with a bang after it hadn’t been hosted in a while with an even hotter line-up which included Bay Bash, The Bishops, DJ Tempo, Its AllBlaq and DJ Stunner, to name a few. The event which is popular for it’s chilled out day vibes, fun and interactive games as well as social networking ambience was scheduled to start at 11am. People started flooding the gates minutes after they were officially opened. Pop Sunday is a generally loved social event but, the traffic where Uncle Waffles was the main attraction, was very high including the parking lot, where some struggled to get a spot.

Inside the venue around 3pm, a relatively large number of people was spotted visiting stalls, dancing to the jams which were played on the decks and having laughs with each other. Mtha Forever was the MC at the event and each time she would hint that fans should keep closer to the stage as Waffles was scheduled to hit the stage very soon, but the star was a bit far from performing as she was slotted to hit the stage at 8pm, just after Bay Bash.

The ‘princess of Amapiano’ wore a two piece black boob tube leather top and short black scotch skirt. Fresh from her United Sates of America (USA) tour and the Coachella Festival, which was last month, the superstar was spotted in the VIP area jamming along to Bay Bash’s set before she took the decks at 8pm.  Right after an electrifying set by Bay Bash and the hour that most were waiting for, Uncle Waffles was ready to hit the stage and give her local fans a taste of what she has been showing the world. She had an hour long performance and her set sent waves around the crowd which even probed a fan to take off his T-shirt and try and get close to her but he was quickly stopped by security. Waffles performed most of her hit singles which fans danced and sang along to.
